We wanted a new van and the choice
was narrowed to a 2004 Honda Odyssey or a Toyota Sienna. With either
vehicle suitable to our needs, both dealers side by side, the final
decision would be based on trade allowance, cash difference, and
dealer desire to meet our needs in a business like manner.
Our Toyota contact was
Gord Miller and the Access pricing system; Honda did business
in the traditional auto sales approach. We were
apprehensive of the set pricing of the Toyota Access system, but
Gord quickly made us feel at ease. Whereas the Honda contacts
hardly
knew their product features and focused on just "selling a
vehicle", Gord knew the Sienna van well, and was very thorough
in ensuring that we saw all features, got all questions answered,
and made buying a vehicle a pleasant experience.
After purchase follow-up has been an equally pleasant experience,
not only from Gord, but the Naniamo Toyota Team as a whole.
(When was the last time that you had a dealer contact you after
a simple oil change to see if you were happy with service, price,
time taken, etc.?????)
