Motor Dealer Council of British Columbia

Gord Miller - Motor Dealer Council of BC

Automotive salespeople working in British Columbia now need to be licensed. Anyone who is not licensed with the Motor Dealer Council of British Columbia, is not allowed to sell cars in the province of British Columbia.

The Motor Dealer Council of British Columbia is a Provincial Government delegated administration that enforces the Motor Dealer Act.

All automotive salespeople in B.C. are now required to take mandatory training courses, pass exams, do criminal record checks, and go through certification to become licensed to sell cars in British Columbia. A salesperson must keep their license up-to-date to sell cars in BC.
